My Vegan Story by Rosalind McCallard

I have been vegetarian since I was 11, vegan on and off since 1994 but consistently now for 8 years. The second thing my husband and I discovered that we had in common was our vegetarianism. The first thing was our love of metal, horns up. We went vegan together after eating a Domino’s pizza and watching a Mercy For Animals undercover factory dairy farm video. The cost to the animals for that disgusting pizza was too high to continue eating dairy. It’s the best decision we’ve ever made, except for marrying each other.

Side bonus, before I went vegan, I had triglyceride levels high enough that my doctor wanted to put me on medication. Within a month of being vegan, all my bloodwork was normal. With veganism, we all win. Horns up for veganism, for the animals, for the planet, for the future.
